Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, a child or an adult, my personalized approach will help you to evolve in your discovery and learning of drawing. I am based in Sorel-Tracy, in the Montérégie region, on the South Shore of Montreal.
I am a graduate of Concordia University in Fine Arts, majoring in Painting and Drawing. This excellent program allowed me to develop my knowledge in the fields of art history and education, as well as to learn artistic techniques and to cultivate creativity.
In my drawing classes, I incorporate the artistic principles I learned in college, as well as those taught by Kimon Nicolaides, author of "The Natural Way to Draw", and Betty Edwards, author of "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain". My philosophy is that to facilitate learning, drawing should remain a game - of course for the more ambitious, a program can be established, but discipline and patience will be required!
Drawing can also be therapeutic and an excellent way to change one's perspective on things. Since it uses the intuitive and creative part of our being, it can help us find solutions to everyday problems.
